Good morning! Here are the Q & A’s Frequently Asked Questions at this Time: I am a tenant and recently lost my job due to the restrictions the city has placed; do I have to pay rent? *No (and yes). We recommend that you inform your Landlord/Property Owner before the rent is due, not the same day. Also, you will have to pay the rent eventually. Depending on your city you will have X number of months after the lockdown orders are lifted to repay any past due rent still owed but... not paid due to Covid-19. Do I have to pay back the rent money I did not have? *Yes, depends on your city. Los Angeles for example provides up to 12 months to catch up on rent owed.
