Wednesday Bible Study Key Words - HEB 11:1 The voice in a passage expresses how the subject is related to the action. Active Voice indicated that the subject produces or performs the action.... Adverb-Is a word which modifies (transforms) a verb by answering a question in the form of where, how, when why or to what extent. Genitive- description or definition it often shows possession or ownership in general Masculine- speaks of gender (male) Negative- negative: Use of a particle to signify that the sentential element being modified should be understood in the opposite sense from what it would otherwise mean. Neuter-speaks of gender (inanimate) non-living Nominative- is used when a noun is the subject Passage Voice- action of the event occurring and it refers to the subject as the recipient of the action Participle- speaks as a demonstrating an action but also used as an adverb which modifies or makes adjustments to view to the subject Plural- used to include more than one such as the words we, they, us Present Tense-continuous action in the present, something occurring in the present Singular-speaks in the term of individual in the 1st person
