#Repost @maxagolf with @get_repost One of my favorite swings on tour. Louis Oosthuizen is as technically sound as they come. One of the reasons for his consistency is the stability of his upper body. We never see the position of the spine or head change. This is a swing anyone can learn from because the movements are not unique to Louis. In fact, it's quite simple and efficient. If you take a class on algebra you should walk away knowing how to do it. We take the same approach at @golfcode360studio . I do not hand out swing tips, theories, or styles. I provide a formal education on golf. I want to educate my clients so well that they will not need me. This way there is no confusion, frustration, or... guessing in their practice and play. And when they get a 2nd opinion, an alternate answer to the math problem, they will be able to discern whether the 2nd opinion is valid or not. While they require little movement the importance of the correct technique is the difference between the shot that cozies up to the hole and the one that blazes across the green. One overlooked detail of this shot is the use of the hands. Trying to make this shot like a putt makes contact lower on the clubface more likely. Thin contact produce...s inconsistent distances. Keeping the grip pressure light and using ulnar deviation and flexion at impact gets the leading edge of the wedge under the ball and into the ground at the same time producing contact off the center of the face.
