Our pal Courtney Patton (one of our longtime songwriter supporters at G&G) released this very fun Covid-19 socially distanced Heart cover with some friends of hers.

It's with a heavy heart that we share with all of our amazing Golf & Guitars Music Festival supporters that we are pulling the plug on our event for 2020. We had very much hoped that by postponing our event from May to mid-September, we might have had a chance. Unfortunately, California is headed in the wrong direction with closure orders and rising Covid-19 infections- and we just can’t picture a scenario where we would be allowed to have a concert by mid-September. We are s...o grateful for all the support that you have shown the event and will certainly reach back out at the beginning of next year when (hopefully) things will look brighter on the live music front ~ Ken PS - I would like to give a big shout-out to two of our big event sponsors: Air Force One Golf and the Governor's Cup. They came through with their Morton Golf Foundation sponsorship and scholarship dollars despite us not even having an event and allowed us to award 25 area graduating seniors more than $48,000. BIG thanks to them for believing in the mission of this event.

Singer/songwriter Chris Roberts has performed at every Golf & Guitars, first as a member of the trio One Flew South and more recently as a cornerstone of our Singer/Songwriter Showcase on night one each year. He has a brand new EP out this week that draws on influences from his work in theater that's definitely worth a listen. #supportgoodmusic

Hey, G&G fans out there. We hope you're safe and healthy and practicing good social distancing. By now, you've probably heard our 13th Annual event has been pushed back to Sept 14 & 15 and we'll announce our (revised) line-up in this summer. In the meantime, let's hear from you: What's your all-time favorite Golf & Guitars Music Festival moment?

Those of you that have been around Golf & Guitars since the beginning will recognize the specialness of the band One Flew South. They have just released a previously-unheard Christmas song called "Pipes of Peace" that is based on the historic moment in WWI where British and German soldiers laid down their weapons in honor of the Christmas holiday that was upon them. Listen to it below.

He's one of our all time favorite guys and does more behind the scenes to support our military than anyone realizes. Jason Michael Carroll was recently interviewed by Marty James, recently retired Executive Sports Editor for the Napa Valley Register, and was asked about Golf & Guitars and his work with our nation's veterans. It seems appropriate timing this week for Veterans Day.

Plans are fully underway to bring you Golf & Guitars # Lucky 13 in 2020

Longtime Golf & Guitars supporter Jimmy Wayne was on the Huckabee Show this last week advocating for foster kids and talking about his inspiring book, Walk To Beautiful. He also performed his signature Hall and Oates cover, "Sara Smile."

Want to know how your ticket money goes back to help support golf in the Sacramento area? Check out a highlight from this year's event when the Morton Golf Foundation brought the Paradise High School Golf Team onstage after outfitting the team with new golf equipment after most of the kids lost everything during the devastating Camp Fire.
