Hey everyone! Summer is quickly approaching, and Golden is gearing up for an action-packed summer! The kids' program will be putting on Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, while the GPAC Teens will be presenting Hairspray! This page will be providing a first-hand look into the rehearsal process, updates on the productions, and show times and dates, so stay tuned and share this page with your family and friends! As the school year comes to a close, you may be asking yourself "What am I going to do this summer? I love to sing, dance, and act, want to spend time with friends and meet new people, but I just don't know where to go in order to make these super cool dreams become a reality." Well, look no further, we have the place for you! Come out on June 5th from 5-9pm and join the GPAC Teen production of Hairspray! Everyone age 14 and up is welcomed to become one of the nicest kids in town, so come to auditions, bring your dancing shoes and 16 bars of music to sing, and get ready for a summer you will never forget!

Meet the Staff: Alyssa Harberger- Social Media and Community Outreach Coordinator Alyssa Harberger is a rising junior at Emerson College, studying Marketing Communications. She has been involved with Golden since she was in 7th grade, performing in countless shows and serving as the Assistant Director for the kids and teens programs over the past few years. From a professional standpoint, Alyssa is the student assistant for the Emerson Parent Programs department, has been a marketing specialist for EmComm (Emerson's in-house ad agency) for the past two years, and was the Junior Marketing Coordinator for Henderson Productions and the Falcon Theatre. This summer, Alyssa will be a digital marketing intern at AIG insurance corporation.

Meet the Staff: Dan Davis, director of the GPAC kids' program Dan Wilson Davis has over thirty years of professional experience in the field of entertainment. Favorite acting roles include, playing Groucho in It’s Top Secret and Bob Crachett in A Christmas Carol; feature films include, The Westing Game, Lying In Wait, and Hidalgo; television guest appearances on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, 18 Wheels of Justice, and Pacific Blue. Dan has been seen on numerous national ...commercials including, AT&T, Toyota, Holiday Inn Express, Carmax and Little Caesars. Dan wrote and directed Yale 300 , a celebration of Yale University’s’ 300th anniversary. Additional writing credits include I Got Merman at the Rich Forum Theatre, Stamford CT, Offsides at the Stella Adler Theatre and awarded first prize at the Love Creek One Act Play Festival, NYC; What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?, Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered and Desperate Characters produced at the Actor’s Workout Theatre, LA and nominated for 7 Artistic Director Awards; It’s Top Secret (co-writer Steven A. Muro), Variety Arts Theatre, Madrid Theatre, Barnsdale Theatre, and NoHo Arts Center, LA.; staff writer for The Mystic Knights of Tir na Nog, on the Fox Network. Dan was honored with a Daytime Emmy Award certificate for his contributions to the CBS Schoolbreak Special, Children Remember the Holocaust. See more
