This outside setup crotch lift to a double is the bread&butter I prefer to the classic double.. As you get bigger and older, you are too slow to hit str8-on doubles.. getting your opponent to dance step right into you..

A variation on the setup I teach as an option to the Shrug counter from aggressive gorilla-bear collar elbow.. go over the top an inside elbow into armpit and close distance... I prefer a rotating roll finish... but this works too..

For those of you I have ever coached TDs, this is what I mean about dancing, back step/forward step 90 degrees, eyes closed, elbows in... shadow wrestling to music (ear phones) This is how you nail your style so it just flows, and is not awkward.. Awesome..

Watch closely.. this is the alternate response to a tight directed collar-elbow tie-up: ie.. normally a shrug to 2-1.. However they usually figure you out after a few attempts... so then BLAM go over the top jam elbow under arm pit and roll.. Coach Alex taught me this.

As we enter our 32nd year of existence Our membership year coincides with the local, state, national, and international wrestling organizations GGWC BAWA CA-USAW USAW UWW . It runs from 1st. September 2018 thru 31st August 2019 .... Therefore it is time for us all to make a commitment if we want GGWC to continue. I have personally made sure we have reserved and paid for this season with SF Parks & Rec thru 31st August 2019. Our schedule and modus operandi will not change that much, however there are some changes. However I need to be convinced for the future there is enough interest to sustain the arrangement with SF Parks & Rec. Tuesday & Friday 6-9pm that is ~96 3-hour sessions for 2018-2019 . Some Holidays excluded.. Saturday 3-5pm practices only on prior request to me.. 1. Because of Paris GGs 1-13 August 2018, and low turnout in the summer, THERE ARE NO SCHEDULED PRACTICES IN AUGUST 2018. 2. There will be NO FOLSOM/Don Jung Memorial Tournament this year in September 2018 3. The LAST practice of 2017-2018 will be this Tuesday 31st July 2018 6-9pm 4. The FIRST practice of 2018-2019 will be Tuesday 4th September 2018 6-9pm 5. We will be scrupulously enforcing the required CA-USAW card, so please take care of if sometime late August 2018 (when they become available).
