The Annual Chief Justice Ronald M. George Distinguished Lecture, named after legendary former Chief Justice of California Ronald M. George, shines a spotlight on the vital role of the courts by bringing together judicial leaders to share their perspectives on critical issues facing the judiciary. This year's 10th Annual event featured a conversation with Michelle T. Friedland, United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, as well as presentations by current #GGULawReview students as they launch their annual edition focused on the Ninth Circuit.

Today is the day! After nearly a year of preparation, tonight Law Review will be holding its Ninth Circuit Survey Release in conjunction with our 10th Annual Chief Justice Ronald M. George Distinguished Lecture Series! This prestigious event will feature a discussion by our two Note authors as well as an in-lecture style conversation with our two honored lecturers, Judge Michelle T. Friedland of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge Alexandra Rob...ert Gordon of the San Francisco Superior Court. As Editor-in-Chief, I am so proud of the efforts of our journal this year! I know this event will be a beautiful success, and it could not have happened without the efforts of all Law Review members and GGU administration Sincerely, Stephanie Nathaniel https://www.eventbrite.com/e/tenth-annual-chief-justice-ron

Golden Gate University Law Review staff members are in the middle of publishing our second issue of our Volume 48, but we're still thinking about the incredible release event we had a few weeks ago for our first issue of Volume 48, our Ninth Circuit Survey. Golden Gate University Law Review's Ninth Circuit Survey is the nation's only annual survey dedicated to significant cases decided in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Be sure to watch the video captured of our #GGULawReview student authors presenting at #GGULaw's 9th Annual Chief Justice Ronald M. George Distinguished Lecture Series at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
