Meet our final 2021 race ambassador, Ace @dr.ace.dc ! Ace is a former college sprinter turned distance runner. He began running half marathons after taking a few years off of running following college track and immediately fell back in love with running. There is nothing that improves his day like fresh air and a good run. 2021 will be his third Golden Gate Half Marathon and he can't wait for the race.

Meet Race Ambassador Gary! "Running bug hit me when I’ve ran my first ever race which was the Golden Gate Half (formerly US Half). Since then, I’ve ran it 12 more times consecutively, with the last 5 pre-pandemic years as a pacer. Having ran about 50 Full Marathons, few ultras and countless halves, there’s nothing like running a race in your own backyard and across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge during sunrise. As Midnight Runners crew captain in SF and a GGH Ambassador, I will continue to inspire and share this passion of running especially to the beginners."

Race Ambassador Jackie started running in 2018 and started running in 5ks, 10ks and other distance since then and ran the Golden Gate Half for the first time in 2019. @jacquiequale
