Happy 2021! Calling all post partum (doesn’t matter how long ago!) mamas and partners who want to share their Midwife Ellie/ Midwife Gwen/ Golden Oak birth experience with expecting GO families. Ellie hosts a Chat every Monday night at 6pm. We’d love you to join us for one evening! Your birth stories are so educational and helpful for conversation. Despite the ups and downs of 2020, Golden Oak is so proud of all of our families - thank you for reminding us continually of your strength and sharing your births with us! We ended 2020 with this beautiful 9#13 VBAC (mom’s first birth was by cesarean) - take that 2020!

We are excited to announce the Birth Equity Fund. This fund is being created to give brown and black families more choice in their birthing experience. Our intention is to create a fund that will support women of color to access more birthing options. Specifically, by creating access through financial assistance, women of color can choose their desired place of birth, provider, birth team, and postpartum support. High quality maternity care is a privilege and needs to become ...accessible to all. We are asking you to give what you can to this important cause. Any amount is appreciated.
