Chris Cornell arguably had one of the greatest voices in rock history and singing anything he wrote is always a challenge. I would love to do this song at The Sunset Jam once quarantine ends. The story for today’s cover goes that while recuperating from a motorcycle accident in 1966 in upstate New York, Bob Dylan cut a number of loose, jammy demos with the backing group from his most recent tour, who would eventually go on to become famous in their own right as The Band. In 2014 some of his unused lyrics were found, and a group of songwriters came together to write music based off them This is one of those songs, called Kansas City. If you look it up on YouTube you’ll see Johnny Depp make an appearance
