We recently installed our 51st system in NYC 10001! The site is a few blocks from Madison Square Garden. The build out/remodel is not yet complete and we can't wait till unveil the site.

Here's a few things she has shared and noticed about her use of the CVAC process in her words: Every day for the last five years has been a new "normal". I never knew what to expect but was just glad I had another day even if most were brutal; Because I held onto hope, I got through it. Since the CVAC System arrived, it is still a new "normal" every day but a brighter lighter newness than previously. It's actually taking a w...hile for this to sink in but I am grateful for sure! I am especially grateful that I can offer this opportunity to others here. Getting what we need and then giving it back out into the world is a precious privilege! The benefits have been tremendous! Of course, the CVAC System is not meant as a replacement for other healthy living choices but it certainly does enhance those activities/choices. I have lost a lot of fluid in my legs; my blood sugar drops while using the CVAC and has been more stable than it has been in the last three years; sleep is more restful; cognition/memory is improved; pain is way down; joint stiffness is much less; my legs are much stronger; energy is greatly improved. I have been doing yoga since June which has been great but I was in pain and still very stiff; since using the CVAC I am moving better in yoga and with less pain.

In memory of Mary Cooper, we'd like to share a few pictures of what her life became after being in a nursing home for over 2 years then using CVAC. She has gone on to better stomping grounds to be with her husband. She would have been 92 today.

Hi, Susan posting a great experience from Leisa. Unfortunately, I can't share the picture - but these are her words. ! :) Leisa Cummins Stieneker Yesterday I had the opportunity to do something I've wanted to do for over 3 years and I was NOT disappointed in my first CVAC session. I got thru the 5 five minute sessions pretty quickly and there are 4 significant improvements that I want to share. 1) I chose to wear my Solidea compression garments while in the CVAC. Let me te...ll you it was a Lonng night of eliminating fluid and I know for sure some of it was lymphatic fluid. That is a VERY good thing! 2) it's been well over a year since I've had any range of motion in my wrists .. That is until last night. Right now I'm able to bend my wrist and it's not as inflamed looking. 3) I've had chronic ear problems. Neither of my eardrums move and because of 3 surgeries and scar tissue I always have lots of fluid trapped behind my eardrum and hearing loss. A few hours after my CVAC session my ears started draining (a lot). It's crazy but I can hear better then I have for many years! Seriously.. I can hear in a different way, I'm watching tv with the volume on 14 and normally it's at least 28 with captions ON! 4) brain fog. This was the one immediate thing I noticed as soon as the pod was opened. It was like my mind was clearer... Sort of like it was scrubbed clean. So... I'm not sure how long the 4 positives will last but what's important to me is that I know it's possible! I can't wait to go back Thursday and wish that each and everyone of you would or could have the opportunity to give it a try! President's Post - CVAC Press Release Diabetes Risk Factor Reduced by Sitting in a Pod The CVAC Process improves glucose metabolism in middle-aged men... TEMECULA, CA.; October 2013 - CVAC Systems, Inc. today announced the publication of a paper on a sham-controlled study which showed that the use of its Cyclic Variations in Adaptive Conditioning (CVAC) process significantly lowered fasting blood glucose levels in a group of middle-aged men. The paper, entitled "Cyclic Hypobaric Hypoxia Improves Markers of Glucose Metabolism in Middle-Aged Men," published in the September 2013 issue of High Altitude Medicine & Biology, showed that using the CVAC pod for 120 minutes each week for a period of 10 weeks, significantly lowered fasting blood glucose levels in a group of sedentary middle-aged men. The study was performed at Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System by investigators from Stanford University. The abstract can be found here: http://online.liebertpub.com/doi/abs/10.1089/ham.2012.1057& Researchers studied the impact of the CVAC process on two groups. One group of 11 men received CVAC sessions while the remaining 10 subjects received sham CVAC sessions. The men taking CVAC sessions had a significant reduction in fasting blood glucose ( p < 0.05) and a significant decrease in blood glucose during an oral glucose tolerance test after 10 weeks. There were no significant changes in the control group. These improvements occurred without any accompanying changes in body weight, timed walk test, or self-reported physical activity levels, according to the study investigators. Lack of physical activity and being overweight are closely linked risk factors of pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Healthcare providers routinely recommend exercise to their patients to prevent pre-diabetes, diabetes and associated complications of diabetes. The estimated total cost of diagnosed diabetes was $245 billion in 2012, according to the American Diabetes Association. This paper suggests that the fitness derived from the CVAC process can improve glucose homeostasis similar to exercise. Larger studies are needed to determine if the CVAC process can decrease the progression from pre-diabetes to diabetes similar to regular exercise. If this can be determined, then the CVAC process could hold the potential for people to experience benefits similar to exercise while sitting, commented Karen Herbst, PhD, MD, board-certified Endocrinologist and Chairperson of CVAC Systems, Inc. Scientific Advisory Board. We are excited because this is the first published data on the CVAC process that is relevant to the general population.
