The Los Angeles/Orange County Chapter of Friends of Sabeel (FOSNA) invites you to join us on Saturday, December 5th, at 10 a.m. PST for a webinar which we are calling O Little Town of Bethlehem: An End of 2020 Update. Our keynote speakers will provide us with updates on the situation in Bethlehem, Jerusalem, and throughout Palestine and Israel as we move into the Advent and Christmas seasons. We expect the discussion to include the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic, and its health and economic impacts on the communities. We anticipate updates on Israeli efforts to annex areas around Bethlehem and in Jerusalem and beyond. We will touch on the possible impact of a Biden-led US Administration and the future of the Netanyahu/Gantz government in Israel. Your questions will also be welcome during our Q&A session. Our speakers include: Rev. Dr Munther Isaac, pastor of both Christmas Lutheran Church in Bethlehem and Beit Sahour Lutheran Church. Dr. Isaac is also Dean of the Bethlehem Bible College. Mrs. Sandra Khoury, a Board member of Sabeel in Jerusalem. Ms Khoury is active in the civic life of Jerusalem, serving on the Board of the International Christian Committee (ICC), with the Middle East Council of Churches and on the Justice and Peace Commission, Jerusalem. Tarek Abuata, the Executive Director of FOSNA. He will review the organizational achievements made in 2020 and the goals that remain to be attained.
