USA travel spotlight on our new California: San Diego Service Adventure program. Join us in GLA's own backyard! Kayak in La Jolla Cove, known as California’s Jewel for its incredible marine wildlife. Knowledgeable guides will teach you plenty about this marine-protected area and its role as both a popular tourist spot and an ocean wildlife hub. Look up and you’ll see nesting peregrine falcons and cormorants on the cliffs, alongside sea lions sunbathing on stunning rock formations. And with a little luck you might spot sea turtles, dolphins and even leopard sharks!

Register by the end of the day today for the Global Impact Virtual Internship. Designed for teens ages 14-19, student interns will be invited to select from one of four incredible focus areas upon signing up: Public Health & Medicine, Animal Welfare, Social Justice or Environmental Stewardship.

Learn how over-fishing In South Africa threatens African penguin populations, in a project created by several of our Global Impact Virtual Interns from our most recent internship session. And if you're interested in being a student intern just like these incredible alumni, remember there's still time to register for our new Fall Session starting in October. You could partner with GLA and an international organization such as the Marine Dynamics & the Dyer Island Conservation Trust. Registration is open to teens ages 14-19, now through Tuesday, September 15th.

Global Leadership Adventures shares a founder with our sister organization, Summer Springboard. Together, we are offering two online academies for college-bound teens, including a Pre-College Exploration Academy with sessions starting this October. Check out our webpage for more details!
