While this year looks a little different, we’re still encouraged to participate by donating, volunteering your time (virtually), joining a live stream, or continuing to educate yourself. As we wind down from a wild year, we can’t help but feel incredibly blessed for all that we were able to accomplish. In December alone we shipped out over 4,000 holiday kits of all different kinds nationwide. More importantly, we were able to give back. Pictured is a special project we worked on in partnership with @littlebrotherssf. Today, 25,000 seniors live alone in the city of San Francisco. Little Brothers facilitates programs to provide companionship to seniors. This year with COVID-19 isolation that need is even greater. Together with our clients we crafted hundreds of handmade wreaths and cards to bring cheer and joy to their homes. This feel good project holds a very special place in our hearts this holiday season We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and we can't wait to make some magic with you in 2021! #GGcatering

When our client pivoted their annual awards gala to a virtual one, we were tasked with helping them deliver a memorable party in a box experience for their award recipients. Each box included curated snacks, festive decor, and other customized celebratory items...queue the cow bell and champagne toasts #GGCatering

Another day another client box! When this tech company wasn’t able to throw an in-person company birthday party, they came to us asking for help to bring the party to their employees at home. The result was nothing short of incredibly festive!! There were boxes within boxes with notes to open at certain times. There was swag, house made treats, decorations, crafts, cookie decorating, and even a full size cake (that wasn’t scary to ship at all)! And of course, e...very little detail was created in the company's color palette. #GGCatering ggcatering.com

Sorry for the radio silence friends; we’ve been all hands on deck working on something pretty epic. The ask: Prepare 2,765 fully customized (209,952 different possible combinations!) swag and pizza kits to be delivered nationwide. ... The answer: Yes! We created custom to order pizza kits, handled all fulfillment for the entirety of the project, and managed all shipping logistics and coordination such that all shipments arrived on time, safely, and ready for the virtual conference experience! We are thrilled to be working again with planners and couples on weddings; some coming up as early as August! With the pandemic being so prolonged, these couples are turning to mini-monies. Some Monday feel good updates for you Last week, in partnership with our friends at @urbanremedy, we wrapped up our #feedthebay project. We stopped by American Medical Response, San Jose and Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Francisco dropping off over 250 boxed meals and 400 juices to our local hero’s . As the campaign comes to an end, it was so humbling to take a look back at what was accomplished in just a few short weeks. We were able to reach six different organizatio...ns: Kaiser, Orinda Care Center, Larkin Street Youth Services San Francisco City Impact, American Medical Response - San Jose and Highland Hospital providing 600 meals!! THANK YOU to our generous donors for sharing and contributing, you made this all possible! The genuine camaraderie amongst our team members to our amazing vendor partners was incredibly heart warming. Being the first green certified large scale caterer in the Bay Area, sustainability is kind of our thing . Just a short couple of months ago, we had the honor of partnering with Marin Montessori for their fourth annual Gather For Good fundraising event at @exploratorium . This year's guest of honor was former Vice President @algore . Due to Mr Gore’s environmental and social projects, the entire event was designed around community and sustainability. No plastics or plastic... containers of any type were permitted for the event. Only the most earth friendly options were chosen across the event for zero landfill waste. All flatware, dishes, glassware used were reusable and parent volunteers made reusable napkins made from cloth remnants - great stuff, right!? While today is technically earth day, EVERY day should be Earth day. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we were able to drop 60 meals yesterday @larkinstreetyouth. Larkin Street Youth Services provides a full continuum of services to young people (ages 12-24) experiencing homelessness so they can move from crisis to stability. During COVID-19 this is especially important as basic essentials, including meals, are harder to access and even more critical. Donations such as this remind our young people that there is a whole community ou...t there who supports and believes in them. It’s funny how, when things seem the darkest, moments of beauty present themselves in unexpected ways. Witnessing the events industry turn upside down is something we would have never expected to see. However, watching it build itself back up in creative ways has been nothing short of incredible. We had originally planned a much larger production with 250 guests at San Francisco City Hall, but as city-wide restrictions on gatherings began in the days leading up to their wedding and we were faced with a series of cancellations and closures, it became clear that ...a smaller celebration was in order. The result was one of the sweetest, most intimate and memorable weddings we've had the pleasure of coordinating, held in their beautiful family home in San Francisco. From the spirit of joy these two and their families held onto even when their wedding plans changed at the last minute, to the creative, hard-working vendor team that pulled together to make it all happen, it's moments like these that remind us why we're in this business.
