Interested in volunteering at Glide? We'd love for YOU to join our enthusiastic team of HIV Testers and Counselors! We've got a few volunteer positions opening up (4 or maybe 5) over the next month. If you're interested, please contact Paul Harkin: [email protected] or 415-674-5180. We'd prefer counselors who are already certified, but will train those willing to make a one-year, 4 hour per week volunteer commitment.

Did you know? African Americans are 12% of the U.S. population, but make up 22% of people living with hepatitis C, the most common bloodborne virus in the U.S. Come to an open community forum discussion hosted by the Mayor's San Francisco Hepatitis C Task Force on October 20th from 6-8 pm at City College of San Francisco. Hear from experts and those living with hepatitis C, see a short film and voice your community's concerns about hep C. See the flier for more details.
