Tonight is the last night to see the Avenue of Lights at the Glenn County Fairgrounds! Tonight is also the last night to get your corn dogs and funnel cakes. Gates open at 5:30 PM, come early and beat the crowds!

Did you miss having your favorite fair treat this Spring? Come down to the Fairgrounds during the Avenue of Lights, December 16th - 20th, and get your Corn Dogs and Funnel Cakes from some of our Fair Time vendors. Milos will be open 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM for lunch and dinner and Funnel Cake Express will be open from 6:00 - 9:00 PM Wednesday through Sunday. Concession stands will be accessible even if your not coming through the drive thru.

This month, we should be anxiously awaiting opening day of the Glenn County Fair. Instead, we read news like this daily, from all industries across America. May is Fair Appreciation Month in California and we need your help now more than ever! County fairgrounds play such pivotal roles in their communities through offering space to celebrate life’s milestones and hold community fundraisers, acknowledging the talent in the community through the competitive programing at the F...air, being there in times of crisis offering emergency services for all and so much more! Please take a moment to reach out to our Assemblyman James Gallagher and Senator Jim Nielsen and share with them the importance of California Fairs during Fair Appreciation Month. It is with heavy hearts to announce the outcome of last night's board meeting; the Glenn County Fair will not be moving forward with a Junior Livestock Auction in any capacity due to concerns surrounding COVID-19. We encourage those in the community who would like to assist the youth exhibitors to reach out to our local 4-H or FFA Chapters to find out how to help.
