The 7th Annual Chili’s Association Wide Fundraiser for 2021 is a go! Be sure to mark your calendars and we’ll have more sharable information soon! ...Tuesday, January 12, 2021 10:00 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Good at all Chili's in California and Oahu, Hawaii. Hopefully the shutdown will be over by then, but if not, there is always the pick-up option. Thanks again to Steven Wagstaff for working diligently to make this a reality!

So very proud of Glendale Lodge #1289 lending a hand (and that's an understatement!) to Sunland Tujunga Lodge #2098. The building of a breakfast "nook" was made possible by the graciousness of time and labor of Joe Allen & Razmik Shahgaldians, Glendale Lodge Members. And in 100 degree heat!

Our comrade Robert Lee was instrumental in putting together a program, Veterans Feeding Veterans. As the name implies, Star Post 309 and other organizations c...ame together to make sure that some of our most vulnerable #veterans are cared for. Glendale Lodge #1289, Exalted Ruler, Penny S. Rieger (3rd from left) joined Lodge Members presenting $3,500 (ENF Beacon Grant) to JWA Post #138 for Veterans Feeding Veterans. When Robert Lee (4th from left), Lodge 1289’s Veterans Chairman, and Marc Thurston (2nd from left), Veteran Service Officer learned that the dining facility at the Sepulveda VA cafeteria was closed due to Federal budget cuts, they devised a program, Veterans Feeding Veterans to address the fact that many Veterans and their families frequently do not have enough to eat.

Another delivery to Glendale 3rd Graders to hand out their very own dictionary...and what a dictionary it is! it has Weights & Measures, Periodic Table of Elements, Multiplication Tables, Roman Numerals, the U.S. Flag, Civics Lesson, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, U.S. Presidents, the 20 U.S. States, Maps of the World, the Planets, Sign Language, Braille and morea mini computer that fits into their hands, no plug in necessary.
