As the walkathon goes on the competition gets more impressive... Congrats to Team Sacramento for taking first place!! Thank you to all the teams that are also participating and helping to push everyone to do better. We have now achieved 53 teams from all over the world in five continents, including Australia! The day has come for Team GL HQ to take the 1st place!! All praise is due to our Creator for giving us the ability to walk and run. The competition is intensifying and its so wonderful to see how energized and motivated we all are to push ourselves. Congrats to the winning teams and everyone for the hard work and the energy you put into this.... We also started to see donations coming in, with GL NY/NJ in the lead. Meet Niveen Syed, who is passionate about our cause. She championed our work at her company Medallia. As a result, we have received grants and support from many of its generous employees. Working a designer for tech companies, Niveen has noted how she herself learns lessons from our children because of their resilience and strength.
