Ginger Stylebar (blow dry bar) is seeking a part-time receptionist to join our fun and dynamic team! Salon Receptionist responsibilities include greeting clients upon their arrival, answering clients’ questions, booking appointments via phone, email or in person, processing transactions and supporting stylists as needed. This role will also include updating our Social Media accounts. To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized, friendly and able to manage cl...ients with courtesy. Ultimately, you will help boost our reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with clients. Responsibilities: - Warmly greet clients, walk them to the proper station and inform assigned stylist of their arrival - Book and confirm appointments via phone and email - Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts - Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments - Inform clients about new discounts and packages - Cross-sell services and products when appropriate - Update client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered - Maintain a tidy reception area and support with salon cleaning - Maintain COVID protocols for safe and healthy environment - Update Social Media as directed by Salon Manager Saturday availability is required.

Upon reopening we will continue to follow COVID-19 modifications and guidelines including: Limited opening hours Tuesday - Saturday 11am - 4pm.... Social distancing measures throughout the salon and waiting areas. Masks to be worn by both staff and customers. All stations, tools, and working areas will be fully disinfected before/after each appointment, with added time between each appointment. Limited appointments available, with priority given to pre booked clients (feel free to book online, via our app, or give us a call to check availability).
