Location: Inside Mitsuwa, 3760 S Centinela Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90066 Price: $14 for 16 pack Ratings: 5/5; SO GOOD!!! I have finally found a good Takoyaki place in LA!! I got the original and the scallion with yuzu ponzu. They were super crunchy, even when I took it home to-go. And inside had a good amount of octopus and filling. It was super flavorful. Totally recommend!! And for the price, this was really good! See more

So glad I got to have some crispy takoyaki @gindaco_usa as the perfect snack to get me through the day! I got the their Cheese Mentaiko Takoyaki, topped with teriyaki sauce, mentaiko mayo, Parmesan and mozzarella. I also got their Yuzu Ponzu Takoyaki topped with green onions and bonito flakes, served with a side of ponzu. I loved how these were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Some takoyaki places are either too soggy and doughy, but this was just right Thank you @gindaco_usa for having me! I highly recommend checking them out @mitsuwa_marketplace in @delamofashion mall! I love how the outside is crispy and the inside is filled with flavorful octopus I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed eating it! Restaurant Info Gindaco - Largest Japanese takoyaki chain serving the popular Japanese snack in more than 500 locations worldwide. The original recipe and product hasn’t changed but they have added new flavors to suit American’s taste Pictured: Original (8pcs) for $7 - The classic with the sweet/tangy glaze, Kewpie mayo, green seaweed, and dried, smokey bonito flakes Notes: Parking is free but because of the pandemic..it can be quite hard to find some on the weekend since they’ve shut down the indoor garage Inside Mitsuwa’s Del Amo food court Recommend? Yes! I particularly liked how crispy the outer shell is.as soon as I took a bite, I felt the umami flavor burst into my mouth! The octopus pieces are pretty big as well! This was a much better version than Tanota Takoyaki in Little Tokyo...their versions are too liquidy inside and they don’t have the creaminess that Gindaco has. My only complaint is that my takoyaki wasn’t super fresh. It was from the batch made previously and was sitting out for quite a while

Takoyaki are popular ball shaped street food that is crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The 24 pack is a great option to try and enough to share with a few friends! Price is so reasonable too! What I loved is that they aren't stingy on stuffing these takoyaki compared to other places an...d with their sauces you get a combination of all types of flavors. I’m stoked that the food court at @mitsuwa_marketplace has reopened, just in time for me to get my takoyaki fix ... @gindaco_usa’s takoyaki is the BEST They get the outside perfectly crispy while keeping the inside soft, and have a myriad of toppings to choose from. They even have okonomiyaki and croissant taiyaki, which I was a bit skeptical about tbh, but was actually the bomb dot com All the workers were wearing face masks and gloveswhich I so appreciated seeing. Basically fried dough balls filled with octopus pieces that comes with a variety of toppings! Flavors: Original: topped with tangy takoyaki sauce + seaweed and bonito flakes - ! Scallion: topped with green onions and comes with yuzu ponzu dipping sauce - ! My top favorites are #takoyaki, taiyaki, and imagawayaki! I have to say @gindaco_usa has one of the best takoyaki in the LA! It’s crispy on the outside and soft creamy on the inside with a piece of tender octopus in it Takoyaki is a savory ball-shaped pancake with octopus in it. It is usually served with mayo, takoyaki sauce, green onion, pickled ginger, tempura bits, and topped with some dried green seaweed (#aonori) and dried bonito flakes (#katsuobushi) My favorite was the original flavor as its classic and the sweet and tangy takoyaki sauce was scrumptious! The spicy scallion & sriracha one was my second favorite as it gives you a bit of spicy kick and its well balanced. The cheese & mentaiko one was a bit disappointing. It has a stinky cheese smell (plus I’m not a big fan of cheese lol), but I saw many people liked this one so I might give it a try again. Since we came in 30 minutes before they close, they have already pre-made the takoyaki for us. Surprisingly those takoyaki were still crispy and I bet it will taste even better if it was made fresh! Original Takoyaki Cheese & Mentaiko Scallion with Yuzu Ponzu Thank you for having me @gindaco_usa Ever since I had Gindaco’s freshly made takoyaki, they’re all that have been Octo-pying my mind We had the party platter with the original, cheese and mentaiko, and scallion with yuzu ponzu! The takoyaki is freshly made in front of you and comes out with a slight crisp outside and a soft inside with tons of flavor! All three flavors tasted amazing, but I think original was my favorite just because it was a classic done so well My only disappointment was that mine was not made fresh on the spot , so I couldn’t take a video of them making it, but the quality was still there!
