Gilroy FFA Boosters Club

It was an eventful morning for this ewe this morning. She unfortunately needed assistance with her birth and sadly one of the two she had did not make it. We are happy that we were able to save at least one of the babies. This ewe has been a member of the FFA for a few years now. She continues to be a great mom like she has been in the past and loves her baby.

Another two little goats born today at the FFA farm. This goat is a second time momma. Momma and babies (boy and girl) are doing great. These two belong to a fellow Gilroy High School sophomore student.

Welcome to the world little ones. The Gilroy FFA farm welcomed two new baby boys late last night/early this morning. This is a first time doe and she’s proven to be a great momma. Names are pending as owner hasn’t decided what to call them.

With the pandemic pretty much taking a toll on everything, there’s at least a little bit of happiness going on. Welcome the newest baby. He was born sometime this afternoon. Keep an eye open for more babies due in the next few weeks that we’ll be sharing the happy news with.

The Gilroy FFA boosters would like to share that we had our first set of babies born earlier this morning. This is a first time momma sheep, she belongs to a fellow senior FFA member. Babies are doing great, momma is doing a great job. Here’s to a great beginning of new life at the farm for the end of 2020. Stay tuned for more babies soon to follow in the coming weeks.
