We’ve had three Gild babies born in the last 6 months. One of of massage therapists had a beautiful baby girl. One of our Estheticians just had another. Our founder had her baby boy just a while prior to both...... Our family is growing. Gild Beauty Bar has always been about family vibes and will always be. While our other team members may not have newborns, they do all have children, and that friends, it THEE most important work. So we ask for grace in this season when it comes to availability. We are all working our hardest to get as many clients in as we can every day, but the truth of the matter is, we can’t be everywhere all at once. Before we were Estheticians we were so many other things! Some of our Gild Estheticians were Baristas, Some worked in Local Cafes, and some worked in Fast Food decades ago! We knew then that those jobs wouldn't be our "forever" careers. It wasn't until the day that we truly thought about how much we loved beauty and loved serving people that we realized we wanted to move into the Esthetics World. We have been blessed to build a tribe of likeminded women who want to pursue their dreams in this industry. How long have you been a massage therapist ? 5 years and counting! Why did you want to get into this industry? I was a caretaker for the elderly and also for developmentally disabled adults for several years before deciding to become a massage therapist , I think it’s in my nature to want to help take care of people! What is your favorite service to perform? Therapeutic customized massage or relaxation, because who doesn’t like to relax :) Why do you love your job? I love my job for many reasons but it is the most rewarding feeling to have someone trust me to hold a safe space for them to heal and to leave the session feeling some kind of pain relief that they may have been experiencing beforehand. I have met so many amazing people through massage therapy! I always live by the quote, do what you love, love what you do Favorite hobby? I’m a nature lover so anything outdoors, going to the lake, hiking, or traveling with loved ones! Anything to do with candles, plants, essential oils or crystals ... and of course, spending time with my son! Favorite color? Olive Green Favorite food? I have never met a pizza I didn’t like lol.
