***GOALS FOR LIFE UPDATE*** The Goals For Life team of mentors have continued to teach our program virtually during these trying times. We fully expect to be back to in-person mentoring at many local public schools next semester in order to teach life skills and lend guidance to kids who desperately need it. Our youth need YOU!

First round draft pick, Rashaad Penny (Seattle Seahawks) and his brother, Elijhaa Penny (New York Giants) were both Goals For Life students when they attended Norwalk High School. Rashaad was a first round draft pick. Hear in the brothers' own words how they were impacted by our award-winning program. First Rashaad speaks about Reggie and Goals For Life, then his brother Elijhaa. The Penny brothers illustrate the breadth and flexibility of the Goals For Life curriculum. Rasha...ad and Elijhaa are disciplined, hard-working, and kind; they come from a great family. Both brothers attribute GFL and having an NFL mentor as being an integral part of their success. We also work with students with incarcerated parents, youth who have experienced abuse, kids in foster care, and students experiencing extreme poverty or homelessness. Sadly, multiple GFL students have experienced the murder of a parent. Our mentors were there to help these students move on in a positive direction. All of us could use a hand up or a pat on the back at some point in our lives. I don't know if you remember me I was always a little smart ass. Thought I knew everything and that everything would be alright no matter what I did. But you were always trying to tell me it wasn't. That I needed to set goals and always have integrity. Man I wish I would have listened ...more I wouldn't had to go thru all these obstacles to get where I'm at now. So I just wanted to say thank you. I think its really great what you do and if I was smarter I would have listened a lot sooner. Keep up the good work."
