We hosted more than 300 LAUSD students at Getty House to celebrate women’s leadership. Together, we paid tribute to the legacy of Rosa Parks and Susan B. Anthony, and learned from the modern trailblazers in entertainment and sports who inspire us today.

Mayor Eric Garcetti, First Lady Amy Elaine Wakeland and the Getty House Foundation Board of Directors hosted the fourth annual Veteran's celebration at the Getty House. This year's event honored veterans who had been recently housed and/or recently employed through the Mayor Garcetti's 10K STRONG hiring initiative. The Welcome Home Project was also highlighted and guests helped assemble 100+ baskets, materials provided thanks to a generous donation form AT&T, that will be del...ivered to recently housed veterans.
