Register: https://events.hackensackmeridianhealth.org//dda1c/summary This Webinar will focus of the clinical relevance of distinguishing myelodysplastic syndrome from acute myeloid leukemia. It will discuss the diagnostic molecular abnormalities that define myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS)/Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) and those that define acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Molecular changes associated with transformation from MDS to AML will also be discussed. Post therapy molecular abnormalities and the use of these abnormalities for monitoring and detecting minimal residual disease will also be presented and discussed. #GTC #GenomicTestingCooperative #HMH #Hackensack #AnthologyDiagnostics #webinar #CMEcourse
HACKENSACK, N.J. AND IRVINE, C.A., May 4, 2021 Patients at John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center now have access to state-of-the-art genomic profiling through a newly established on-site lab called Key Genomics. The laboratory is the result of a collaboration between Regional Cancer Care Associates (RCCA) and Genomic Testing Cooperative (GTC) in Irvine, CA. It will serve physicians within Regional Cancer Care Associates, a network of cancer professionals in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maryland. RNA can detect all possible translocations that may involve ALK, ROS1, RET, NTRK and FGFR Detect MET exon 14 skipping for capmatinib RNA can evaluate the microenvironment, immune response, PD-L1, PD-L2, PD-1, CD8 cell etc. and determine the MET exon 14 skipping and various alternative splicing, expression and amplification of ERBB2 (HER2), MET and EGFR Detect all NTRK (1,2,3) fusions to identify patients eligible for NTRK inhibitors Identify ALK, ROS1, and RET fusi...ons at significantly higher sensitivity than FISH and will require no additional tissue. Detect the presence of ERBB2 (HER2) amplification/ overexpression which is present in 5% of lung cancers #GTC #GenomicTestingCooperative #RNA #RNAtesting

FDA-approval of the alpelisib was based on detecting one of 11 frequent mutations in PIK3CA. Based on our data, these 11 mutations constitute only 63.40% of the mutations we detect when Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) is utilized. The FDA-approved test will miss 36.60% of PIK3CA mutations utilizing only a PCR assay for hot spot mutations. Genomic Testing Cooperative (GTC) offers comprehensive PIK3CA mutation profiling. Based on our database more than 126 different mutations... are associated with the PIK3CA gene and can be clinically relevant in profiling a patient’s cancer when NGS is used for testing. https://genomictestingcooperative.com//solid-tumor-profil/ #BreastCancer #PIK3CA #Piqray #HER2 #gtc #genomictestincooperative
