Sorry, we’re having trouble with the stream. We’ll get it up if/when we can. Stay tuned.

GBF, Greetings! Thank you for your prayers, they are greatly appreciated. This Sunday we will plan on meeting outside on the lawn next to the Little House. There is a good amount of shade at 10 am, but that will start to disappear by the time we are done. Wes will be lathered in sunscreen and will probably have shorts and flip flops on. Please feel free to bring umbrellas or canopies! We would encourage you to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets for your family but will al...so make our regular chairs available as needed. Masks are optional since we will be outside, but please socially distance and be sensitive to those around you. For singing, we will make song books available. We will also have a pdf version on the website for those who would prefer to use their phones. We will stream the service as we have been doing for those who prefer to remain at home. We love all of you, and we're looking forward to worshiping with you this week. May God be glorified as we lift up the name of Christ! Your Pastors

GBF, We wanted to send out this email so you know that we are working on it! Our plan is to let you know what Sunday will look like by Friday evening. Our goal for whatever we do is first to glorify God... That is why these decisions cannot be made quickly or flippantly. We also know that there are strong opinions on both sides over whether or not to open. We want you to know that we hear you, and we are behind you in whatever decision you make for your family. We love those ...of you who have chosen to stay home these past few weeks and we love those of you who have come. Satan would love to split us apart over this issue... So please hear us when we say that we don't want you to feel judged by us. We want to do what we can to support and lift each of you up as brothers and sisters in Christ. Here's the deal: Newsom said that we cannot have service indoors this coming Sunday... We have, really, three options. 1. Go back to streaming only. 2. Defy the order and continue in person. 3. Have our gathering outside. Number three sounds like the best middle ground option, but there are a couple of factors to consider: 1. It's hot outside! And 2. running power (and especially the streaming equipment) outside is no simple task. We love you, and we'll let you know by Friday what Sunday will look like! Your Pastors

GBF Family, Contra Costa unexpectedly updated their health order on Tuesday (6/16) which states that churches are now able to open under a few restrictions. The plan is to open this coming Sunday (6/21). Unfortunately, we will not be able to hold kids’ classes or offer nursery (the changing table will remain open), so if you are planning on coming please be prepared to have your children with you in the service. We will have some activity packets provided for the children. In... addition, we will not have the hospitality table available, so please bring a snack for your children if needed. For the service, please plan on sitting with your families. We will have the chairs arranged so as to allow for social distancing between families. We need to keep the number under 100 people, so we will be taking a headcount to make sure we are in compliance. We will continue to offer streaming services for those who prefer to remain at home during these early days of reopening. The plan is to have a Super Communion service where we can come together and celebrate the Lord’s Supper, sing, and read scripture. We will have individually packaged communion elements like we did the week before the Shelter in Place began, and we won’t be passing the offering bags around. At the end of the service when we dismiss, we ask that people fellowship outside and do not congregate in the building. Thank you for your understanding. We know that these months have been difficult! We look forward to seeing you on Sunday! Your pastors
