Gazebo Writing Project 27.05.2021

Greetings friends of Gazebo Writing Project. I realized it has been a long while since I sent an update. Hoping it would be the release of my book, but alas, not quite yet. The good news is, the manuscript is fully edited and with the designer. Once she is finished, it is headed for the printer... so stay tuned. I am so excited to share this with the world so soon. Thank you all for following along with this incredible process!

Dear Gazebo family and friends, and supporters of Gazebo Writing Project, As most of you know, I have been working on a book about the history and pedagogy of Gazebo Park School for the past several years. I can proudly say that I now have a manuscript and am deep in the editing process. My writing teacher, Nancy Knapp, used to say, Write drunk and edit sober. Though she was speaking metaphorically, I prefer the former. Though editing is tiresome work, and I am a bit weary ...at this point, a book is coming soon! Though I am not formally asking, if you feel called to support this work, I welcome whatever you feel called to contribute; even if it is simply a few words of encouragement. Many thanks for your love and support and I look forward have announcing the publication in the coming months. Viva Gazebo!

Dear friends of Gazebo Writing Project, Good news... I have a rough draft of a manuscript! So, on to the last two phases of the process: editing and publishing. The challenge now is funding. I have an editor online who is ready to begin to work on it, and I am aiming to self-publish. So, ultimately it is my goal to go to print by January, but in order to do that I will need around $5,000. So, since it is almost giving Tuesday, and though there are so many in need it is hard ...to ask for resources for this, yet I do believe it will make a difference in the lives of children. So, I am asking for your support my goal to finish this book by 2019. If you are interested in making a donation, I can provide my mailing address of Paypal info in a personal message. I really appreciate the support and love along this journey and am happy the destination is in sight. Blessings for a happy harvest season. Love and light, Jasmine. See more
