The beginning of crafting a new cheeseboard. I was lucky enough to be able to get some curly maple boards. This is a difficult specie to work with. I wanted to express as much as possible this beautiful figure.

PREP BOARD ... This year my goal was to bring a new product to market. Something simple and beautiful. This is for those who want a little heft so the board does not bounce all over your countertop. The wood is Quarter Sawn White Oak which provides beautiful grain and flatness over time. Here are two pictures, one when the board was brand new and the second picture is after six months of use and never oiled.

Milling more walnut for more Gaucho Premium Banquet boards. I also was asked to build some cool picture frames. I like the frame to serve the artwork and not compete. Design does not live in a bubble by itself.

Designing a custom storage bench. I tested the height and feels decent. Probably the bench will be shortened by 3/4" for shorter people. This height is perfect for me.
