Garbs of Grace

It's been a REALLY long time since I posted in here, but just wanted to pop in and let you know, I am still here! Between having a second baby (June 2015), diagnosed with cancer (Oct 2, 2015), surgery on my eye (Oct. 26, 2015), recovery, selling our home and moving (June-Sept 2016), things have been slightly hectic! I have orders in for blankets and will be cranking those out in the next couple weeks. I will also be making some skirts with denim that was donated. I will post pics and sizes of the skirts as they are finished. You can purchase them via Paypal or in person if you are local. Reminder: Proceeds go to purchase Christmas gifts for the women and children at House of Blessing in south central Los Angeles. <3

I guess it has been a while since I have posted! Been busy with a two year old and baby girl on the way! (Only 15 weeks left until she is here!) I have been working on some fun projects, one of which was for my niece (a homecoming dress that took a while!). Getting ready to start some new projects with lots of denim, bandanas, minky fabrics and lots of old clothes being repurposed! Here are a couple photos of what's been happening! Come out and try your luck! Garbs of Grace will be at the Lucky You Boutique on Saturday March 15 from 10am-6pm. Bring your whole family for a day of fun and shopping! Petting zoo, face painting, jumping house, food and a whole lot of vendors to shop from! Raffle tickets will be available for purchase and there will be a huge vendor basket raffled off with something from each vendor inside! Not to mention that many vendors will be having a raffle at there booth! Great people, great products, great prices, great cause.... tons of fun for everyone! Hello Friends! Garbs of Grace will be at a HUGE event on March 15 in Ontario. This event is raising money for charity. The American Red Cross will be the main charity. To prepare for that event, we are looking for clothing donations. Jeans preferably, but all main clothing will be greatly appreciated! (main clothing consists of pants, shorts, shirts and skirts. All sizes, all colors.) Please message me if you have items and where you live so I can work on a day to collect! All items collected will be "up-cycled" or "re-cycled" and items will be sold at this event!
