In the early years nobody used spinning rods for Chinook fishing. When I started I was told you couldn’t use them for Chinook in Tillamook, those Hogs are just... too big, they’ll tear it to pieces. For all these years that stuck in my head. I guess I’m late to the party though. Last Year I got to thinking Hey, we use some of these quality Shimano spinning reels to land fish like tuna and bonefish. Why aren’t we using them for Salmon?
