2020 G Lazy T Open Roping canceled. We were really hoping we wouldn’t have to create this post but unfortunately due to Covid restrictions in our area, we are going to have to cancel this year‘s annual open roping. We have built a brand new arena and are READY TO ROPE!! We look forward to seeing everybody next year!

I will be having my pre Thanksgiving steer wrestling school again this year. November 23-24th in Los Olivos CA. $450 per student - $250 deposit required, pre...ferably Venmo -I have 25 spots open right now. -Call or text 805 757 9949 to sign up -9am start the 23rd lunch will be provided this day. -8am start on the 24th -You must sign a waiver, also any family that is with you. -Any under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them. -If you feel you have any symptoms of Covid please let me know and please do not attend -25 pens available for horses -I will have special guest NFR qualifier Trav Cadwell, along with PRCA circuit champions, and NHSRA champions to help with the teaching. Lots of eyes and experience. Lots of ground work on steer and horse savers, chute dogging, and live cattle jumping. There will be very limited horse power if you do not have a horse. To get runs I suggest you have a steer wrestling horse and haze horse if you want to run live cattle. See more

Tonight KSBY mistakenly reported that the Santa Maria Elks Rodeo has been canceled. The 77th Annual Rodeo has in fact been postponed until September 24-27, 2020... and not canceled. The Santa Maria Elks Rodeo Board of Directors are continually monitoring the situation and if there are any changes, we will notify you our Fans, Volunteers and Sponsors directly from our Facebook page.
