This is one of the welds from around the tube on the Cat. Holding strong!

And here are some pins they managed to bend, at the same time. They're 1.5" hardened steel.

This is how much all the parts moved when I cut the old tube on the Cat.

This was a project at my normal 9-5, but it is worthy of mention here. The guys somehow destroyed the tube in the top of the picture. I cut the old one free, cleaned up the ears that welded to it, and replace the tube. Spent $120 on materials, vs buying a new part from Cat for over 1000.

Drilling holes in the bottoms of the cart so that I can weld some nuts into the tube. They were used to bolt on the casters.
