And here's another one bound for questionable future unearthing. I fail to understand why a group doesn't consider the container of a time capsule very much. She's interested in preserving her newspapers, but pays no attention to the containers used. The group has a large enough budget to pay a few hundred dollars for a decent stainless steel container, but doesn't bother doing it. Again I hope it's not placed for a long period of time and that they protect it.

Here is one I am worried about, it's a container that looks really nice but there is not enough information about how it seals. Or even, indeed, what the 'scrap metal' is made of. I hope they do not bury it too long, and in a protected area.

The copper capsule placed in 1909 was crushed by the concrete over time. The concrete expanded and crushed the box.
