VIC was honored by the City of Los Angeles for being the first adult center in all of LA County to secure a contract with an Armenian caterer! Our Burns Manor dining site located in Sunland, will now be serving nutritious Mediterranean dishes every Friday made fresh by a local Armenian restaurant. This has been such a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diversity throughout our centers and make the connections in our community even stronger. We’d like to give a huge shout out to the dedicated staff that made this contract possible! Our Burns Manor site hosted a Hawaiian Luau party with raffle prizes, a live DJ with Armenian dancing, a visit from Councilmember Rodriguez’s representative, and a sneak peek of the new meal program! Take a look at all of the fun we had.
