Well I am gutted beyond words! Yesterday may beloved friend Bernie left us to go be with our savior! He is now teaching everyone in heaven how to ride a bike. He is no longer suffering! The last 2 weeks where so hard on him being sick! My dad told me that in life you will meet a lot of good people and then you will meet some very special people and he was for sure a very very very special friend to me! We have been friends since 1996 and of course we became friends because of... the bike! No one ever had anything bad to say about this guy he was as good as they come. Still can’t believe that Kobe is no longer with us! The day I heard he was killed I cried. He was part of our family, for 20 years we all watched him on our TV in our living room. Although I never met him I felt like I knew him. I will always respect his drive to be the best! He was a human just like all of us and we all witnessed that after he retired from the game.
