I’ve decided to use this little 2x2 accordion book for practicing gouache. Theme: postage stamps! (Cause I need a theme and rules for my journals) I recently purchased #himigouache or jelly gouache to give it a try and I’ll have to say I really LOVE them so far! I was surprised by their quality. So if you like gouache but really don’t like the tubes or fussing with pans try them out! #gouachepainting #gouacheillustration #artjournaling #accordianbook #arttime #vintagestamps

I’ve been mostly staying home this past week due to the smoke from wildfires. I was inspired by @pegandawl and book blocks with fabric that I had to make one. I repurposed an old ranger art journal for the big one. My good friend @sweetinkbooks surprised me with the little one. She left it plain knowing that I would want to cover it with vintage goodies. I used a old feedback fabric and a piece of vintage wallpaper. Trying to stay busy!! #artjournals #artjournaling #bookbinding
