How cool is this idea! Found a few examples on Pinterest and most were western saddles, but I’m really loving the look of English saddles. Who else likes this idea? Or is it too much?

A few weeks ago we lost a great friend and club member Kassandra J She was a wonder in the driving world for decades -breeding and exhibiting her beloved draft horses. A little gal with a head full of blonde hair and a huge laugh was a sight to be seen . Wether she was driving a single, pairs or a monster four or six in hand -She was a sight to behold!!She always did have her eye checking out our Friesian’s at shows and finally bought one (which led to more if you can ...believe it). ..Coco Channel, Giorgio Armani, Merrit and she bred her first premium colt Ace who earned a star stallion status two years ago! We will sure miss you Kass, your friendship and knowledge that you shared with so many of us. Your celebration of life was just amazing, something to remember and ending with your final spin in the show arena with your girls See more

I have always felt very lucky to call Kassandra Jaramillo my friend. An amazing lady with untenably good spirit, a ready smile and honest words for every person... she met. I will always treasure the wisdom she shared with me over the years...about horses, humans and just plain life in general. I hope I can be like her some day...but fear I will always fall woefully short of the integrity, tenacity, grace and joy that I always found in her. My heart hurts to learn of her passing this morning Fair journey, my sweet and wonderful friend. I will forever treasure our long chats hanging around the parking lot after Friesian club meetings and the brilliant smile you wore while doing what you loved....driving those giant horses and thundering around the ring (Not to confuse anyone, my other dear friend in this photo, Cassandra Adams, is alive and well here in Kentucky ;) ) See more
