Our third annual Fall Fashion Frenzy fundraiser, held at the Lake Merced Golf Club on October 20, 2012, was a huge success--thanks to all of you who supported us in so many ways! ABC7 News Anchor, Carolyn Tyler, emceed the luncheon with fashion show featuring cancer patients or caregivers as models. The event, filled with love, laughter and some surprises, raised $48,000 100% of which will be used to provide cancer products such as wigs, mastectomy prostheses and bras, to low-income women and adolescent girls. ABC7 News Anchor/Reporter Carolyn Tyler needs our help! Join Carolyn’s team for the 8th Annual Faith Fancher Breast Cancer 5k Walk/Run on Saturday, August 25th from 9:00 - 11:00 am. The 3-mile course circles Oakland’s scenic Lake Merritt, and is a fundraiser for Friends of Faith (Fancher) Inc., which supports local organizations that provide direct services to underserved and underinsured women with breast cancer.... A bunch of us from Friend to Friend will walk why not join us? Other local TV and radio personalities will be walking, too. It should be fun for the whole family! Cost is $40 for adults and $15 for ages 13 or younger. During registration, you’ll be asked to select a team -- join TYLER’S BREAKING NEWS team!
