Did you know? All Libraries are accepting the return of library materials! It's easy to return your library materials to your local Stanislaus County Library! Although book returns remain closed at this time, your local library is accepting returns during modified services hours. Simply visit the library and place your returned materials on the designated cart outside of each location. Due to a large influx of books, and to observe safe handling practices, please expect a delay of up to 10 days for this to be reflected on your account.

Summer Reading Performers to Stream Online With the Summer Reading Challenge comes Summer Reading performers, and this year those free shows will be available online! Visit the library website throughout the summer for links to fun entertainment for the whole family. The first show, Magic Circus, will be available to stream June 1 through 7 via a link on the library website. Magic Circus demonstrates that theatre can be used to improve the quality of education, build imagination and team spirit, and foster self-esteem. If you would like to request a book or movie for pick up, please visit our website www.stanislauslibrary.org or use the Stanislaus Library App. You can also contact the Oakdale Library by calling 209-847-4204 between 12:00 pm- 6:00 pm Monday- Thursday and Fridays 11:00 am- 5:00 pm.

Modified Library Service Hours and Locations Stanislaus County Libraries are closed temporarily. Modified services began March 23. Please see details below. Oakdale Library Hours: Monday: 12 pm - 6 pm... Tuesday: 12 pm - 6 pm Wednesday: 12 pm - 6 pm Thursday: 12 pm - 6 pm Friday: 11 am - 5 pm Saturday: Closed Sunday: Closed We’ll offer no-contact pick-up of library materials following this procedure: Place holds online or through the Stanislaus County Library app, or call us for recommendations and we will place the holds for you. We’ll pull the materials and notify you when they are available for pickup. When you arrive, call us and give us your library card number. We will check your items out to you. While you stay in your car, we will place your items in the designated outdoor pickup location. To ensure social distancing, pick up your items once we go inside. Senior citizens may be able to receive doorstep delivery of library materials during the closure. Seniors should call (209) 558-7814 or their local branch library. Due dates of library materials have been extended to April 30. Please keep items at home for now.
