Thanks to everyone that continues to check in to our page. No news to report. We will post any updates here if anything, just for the excitement. We wish you continued safety. The books and other media are patiently still.

Yes. It has been months. No news to report other than it is unlikely that the Used Book and Media Store will reopen in the near future. Our books still remain frozen in time waiting to be looked over and selected by you to become your new friend. Stay tuned where no news is no news. Hope you remain safe and healthy.

Good morning! At this point, you may be lamenting running low on books. Powell's Books in Portland has been featured in various news programs. Online sales have enabled it to re-hire some staff to fulfill orders. Don't panic! This is just one resource available to fill your reading needs. For our members who have checked out books from the Leonard Library, the Circulation Department will automatically renew your books until the library reopens Because members are losing so many months of access to the library collections, all memberships will be renewed through December 31, 2021, without charge. You will receive an updated membership card through the mail sometime in the next couple of months. Thank you so much for your understanding and support of the library in these difficult times.
