Good news for our local libraries!

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful fathers out there that have influenced us, read to us, and inspired us!

Our first bag sale of 2020 begins today. Due to a change in the library's schedule, the library branches will all be closed on Sunday, February 16 AND Monday February 17, 2020 for the President's Day holiday. Therefore, we have extended this sale through closing time on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.

Just in time for the holidays! Our final book auction begins next week at all three branch libraries. Mark your calendars!

It's time for another awesome bag sale! We have a lot of new and wonderful inventory. Mark your calendars!

Code Name: Lise by Larry Loftis is now available in paperback. This is an incredible true story and would make a wonderful Christmas gift. Note that the paperback has a bonus section the was not available in the hardback version.

Thank you to everyone that attended our book sale yesterday! And a big thank you to all the volunteers that worked tirelessly to make it happen! It is events like these, the win-win exchange of giving used books to interested readers in exchange for funds that go to support extra library programs such as the Summer Reading Program and One Story, One City, that are why the Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library exists. Please join us at our next book sale on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 10 AM to 4 PM in the Community Room of the Valencia branch of the library. If you have any books to donate for the sale, please bring them to the Valencia branch library. You can notify the staff member at the circulation desk that you have a donation for the sale and they will tell you where to leave it. Please bring your own bag(s) on the day of the sale. There is going to be a huge selection of books at this sale. All books at the sale are going for HALF-PRICE. It is going to be the sale of the year! Mark your calendars.
