Hello Friends, please tune in to the City of Fresno Planning Commission happening now and share your comments on the proposed development at Jensen and Maple that is being pushed by Nick Yovino and company: https://zoom.us/j/91786973986. The proposal includes building a 4-story apartment complex, a gas station, and some retail and other business space. Back in 2019, we heard loud and clear from Calwaians about their opposition to another gas station, liquor store, and 4-story apartments next to single story homes. Calwaians want good developments that add desirable amenities to our community. Join the conversation via Zoom!

Hello Everyone we still have your Halloween pictures that were taken on Halloween here at Friends of Calwa Center come in and pick up your photos.

INVITACIÓN: Un desarrollador está proponiendo construir la esquina de Maple y Jensen. El proyecto propuesto incluirá apartamentos, tiendas y ventas de ALCOHOL en nuestra comunidad ya saturada. El aviso de la junta fue compartió con algunos miembros de nuestra comunidad solo en inglés. Los invitamos a asistir a la junta el próximo miércoles 20 de noviembre a las 6:30 PM en la escuela de Calwa. ¡Ven y comparte lo que nuestra comunidad necesita y quiere! Queremos buenos negocios que apoyan a nuestra comunidad y necesitamos que toda nuestra comunidad sea tomada en consideración.

INVITATION: A developer is proposing to build out the corner of Maple and Jensen. The proposed project will include apartments, retail, and LIQUOR sales in our already saturated community. The meeting notice was shared with some members of our community in English only. We invite you to attend a meeting next Wednesday, November 20th at 6:30 PM at Calwa Elementary. Come share what our community needs and wants! We want good businesses to support our community and we need all of our community to be taken into consideration.
