Friends of Auberry Library

What an unusual spring and summer! Our community is missing the musical get-togethers, book sales, and astronomy nights that usually crowd FOAL’s summer calendar. This year the office is closed and the schedule bare, but fortunately the libraries are open for curbside pickup of ordered items. As Fresno County slowly reopens, as more Covid 19 testing becomes available, and as daily thermometers climb, will FOAL be able to host any of the usual monthly outdoor events we enjoy? Would anyone attend, realizing that our friendly atmosphere will be changed by social distancing and masks? Time will tell. The FOAL Board currently feels the need to wait to make any plans until we can guarantee the safety of all involved.

Hello Friends of the Auberry Library, Based upon the recent guidance from the State of California Public Health Department regarding public gatherings, FOAL will be cancelling all public programs and events until further notice effective immediately.
