Don’t wait till the last minute. If you let them know ahead of time, they can isolate you properly and that reduces the chances of getting the healthcare team and other patients sick. Especially if you have traveled recently or have been on a cruise ship. You are putting all of us at risk and we’re trying to help you.

COVID-19 Update: I finally received the kits to test for COVID-19 in my clinic. We have limitations as far as the number of patients that we can test. People have to be symptomatic to be tested. We have to isolate the patient, evaluate them, call a hotline and get permission for testing based on our evaluation.
