We are deeply saddened by the news confirming Sarah Chester and her daughter Payton Chester, who were two of the nine passengers who lost their lives in Sunday morning's helicopter tragedy involving Kobe Bryant. On behalf of Friends of La Serna we would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the Chester and Georg...e families on the loss of their beloved family members Sarah and Payton Chester. Please know, we are all hurting with you. You will all be in our thoughts and we will be sending you love and strength. Sarah, a La Serna alumni is survived by her husband Chris and her two boys Hayden and Riley. Mother Cathy George, brother La Serna High School History Teacher/Varsity Head Football Coach Andy George, his wife La Serna English Teacher Jenna George, their children Kinsley, Camdyn, and Chandler.
