Vocalists. True we no longer have Open Mic since the closing of Hollywood Studio Bar & Grill; however, for those interested in performing in upcoming events in L.A. and surrounding areas, join SoCal/L.A. Vocal Collective. ..meet other members this Wednesday at the Gardenia (7066 Santa Monica Blvd. nr. LaBrea) Prepare 3 songs - our theme this month are songs from movies. ..but not mandatory for new members. Please note, this is not an open mic. Membership is $10 to help cover the cost of piano accompaniment (Darrell Alston) and give serious vocalists an op to try new material in any genre to be considered for paying gigs. Looking forward to seeing some wonderful old friends again. Need your support so please make a note to drop in...bring friends 9PM.

Please keep Ann Mack in your thoughts and prayers. She was admitted to the hospital today and is under observation for a heart problem.
