We know you have a beautiful smile-and you want to keep it that way. But like other parts of your body, your mouth can also feel the effects of age. Don't worry: with a little preventive care, you can keep your oral health on track. This is a recent case restored with new high translucent Armann Girrbach zirconia crowns layered with GC Initial to replace old crowns and achieve function and correct force distribution on posterior teeth. Patient is in therapy with sleep apnea appliance. Restorative treatment by Dr. Claudia Denes, ceramic lab work by Bill Marais. @ Fresno Dental Studio. Enjoy the case!

5 years of Interdisciplinary Treatment : In reconstructive dentistry, an accurate diagnosis with case analysis, a good treatment planning, the right interdisciplinary approach, as well as a careful treatment execution are decisive factors in treatment success. The therapy with orthodontic treatment and surgical procedures have become sometimes unavoidable component to enhance the appearance of restorations within the esthetic zone. A clear communication between the team , cer...amist and the patient is very important. This case is the result of over 4 years of orthodontic treatment to bring the teeth in the right position, create space for congenitally missing laterals. Surgical phase followed the orthodontic therapy with placement of 2 implants with custom abutments and crown lengthening of existing upper teeth for the correct proportion. The case challenged the treatment planning of the right distance, proportion and shape. The key was to picture the final esthetic outcome. Last phase of the treatment, Restorative phase, included custom abutments for both implants, followed by all ceramic crowns on implants and veneers on centrals. I think this is a very successful smile enhancement treatment and I'd like to thank you for taking the time to look at the case, as well as to our patient for her commitment to such a long treatment. Our team: orthodontic treatment by Costanzo Orthodontics, Implant therapy and esthetic crown lengthening by Nicolas Ravon, DDS, MSD, treatment planning, restorative therapy and dental photography by Dr. Claudia Denes, and laboratory by ceramist Bill Marais. The achievements of the laboratory restorations made by an artistically gifted dental technician do breath life into our work with beautiful form and function. Thank you Bill for this stunning case. Thank you all for the hard work and this amazing transformation. Enjoy this great case! See more

Our office at the end of the day. Today was surgical day with Dr. Nicolas Ravon and Dr. Claudia Denes. Going to the dentist will be different under the new rules, more protective equipment and proper air filtration in each consult room. Our office is prepared to follow the rules, having already operated under strict codes to protect patients and our team. These include: Screening before each patient visit Taking temperatures of each patient Limiting the number of peo...ple who are in the office at all times Social distancing Sanitization of patient hands, oral rinse and devices Increased PPE for both patients and the dental team Limiting of aerosol generating procedures Although we have added a few additional measures, we have been practicing infection control for decades at or above the accepted practice. These additional measures in addition to our regular infection control procedures make our office the safest place you can be. See more

Happy Friday! The world continues to change at a breathtaking speed with some fear and uncertainty. As it begins to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, one question that I am often asked is Do you think it is safe to go to the dentist? My immediate response is an ABSOLUTELY, YES! You may not know that Dentistry is a profession of obsessive-compulsive cleaners. Dental offices are one of the SAFEST places you can be. Dental treatment rooms are cleaned with potent bacterial... and viricidal cleaners before and after each patient visit. Dental instruments are heat sterilized to kill all viruses and bacteria. Barrier protection is used to prevent germs from spreading when we touch things. Furthermore, we use many disposable products, and wear advanced personal protective equipment for the safety of our patients and community. Dentistry was safe before the COVID-19 outbreak and remains safe after. We want you and our team members to always feel comfortable and safe at our office. As we begin performing routine dental care, you can be assured that we have studied the latest information and research on how to best care for our patients to keep you and us safe during your visit. If you’d like to schedule a visit, please call our office. See more

Why sleep matters? How does caffeine or alcohol affect sleep?

Fresno Dental Studio 31.08.2020

Sleep is one of the most important aspects of our life, health and longevity with devastating consequences: every major disease in the developed world - cardiovascular disease, strokes, Alzheimer's, cancer, obesity, diabetes, depression and anxiety, accelerating aging - has very strong causal links to deficient sleep.. Sleep is the key factor for growth and development.
