Finally, we paid a visit to LACMA and the Spanish Pieta sculpture. It was breathtaking, beautiful, and devastating all at the same time. A wonderful way to contemplate Richard Beck's new book, The Slavery of Death and Allan Schore's talk on the neuroscience of attachment (read = mother child bonding).
The symposium itself was great, as well. Just look at all the learning taking place...
The 2014 Integration Symposium group! We began the trip with a wonderful meal at Umami Burger in Pasadena. Great food, even better company!
