Christmas Eve and Day meals for our @vc_aaa seniors. Filet mignon with au gratin potatoes, sautéed mushrooms and onion, roasted asparagus. Chicken tamales , salsa, vegetables. Cinnamon bread pudding, blueberry sauce, breakfast sausage. Pasta bel Forno with béchamel topping, vegetables. Apple crisp and kipfel shortbread cookies. Look for the beacon of light coming from plaza park at 6:30, It will signify the lighting of the downtown Christmas tree for the season. Every year, we here at Fresh & Fabulous donate time and resources to our neighbors and our community. Whether it be cooking for first responders (World Central Kitchen), donating platters and gift cards to schools, Habitat for Humanity (Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County) and other local programs, donating time served on the boards of local non-profits (Community Action of Ventura County, the Oxnard Downtowners), collaborating with other non-profits (The Local Love Projec...t /Totally Local VC), we always give back. We are now asking for a little help for our Downtown Holiday efforts. Our delivery staff go above and beyond everyday making it possible for all of our seniors to receive their meals in a timely, safe and convenient manner. They even make multiple trips, deliver to boats and accommodate the seniors’ schedules. Dear loyal customers: As you know, as of March 19 we have a Mandatory STAY AT HOME order from the State of California. I take the health and safety of my staff and community very seriously and therefore will be CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
