FREMONT John C. Fremont Elementary School Justin Woodbridge ... Good Afternoon Fremont Families, This is Principal Justin Woodbridge. I first want to say I miss you all and have been thinking about you all. I know this is a tough time and Mrs. Donaldson and I, our teachers, and our classified staff have been working nonstop since the closure to make distance learning the best it possibly can be for you and our scholars. I will be sending more information out soon about ways Fremont is here to support you, but the purpose of this phone dialer is to explain computer distribution. The information contained in this communication can also be found on our school website at www. Fremont.mcs4kids.com, on the PTO facebook page, through the remind app for Open Plan students, and from teachers that used the remind app, class dojo, and other communication systems during the school year. To assist in the ability to continue your students' education remotely, Modesto City Schools is issuing student computers for your students to use at home. Your child's device will be ready to pick up at Fremont Elementary Tuesday, April 7. This will be done in a drive-thru fashion, with no need to get out of your car. Staff members will be there to guide you. Listen carefully to the following pickup schedule by grade level and instructions. Please pull into the staff parking lot at Fremont on the Tully side of the school during your scheduled time. You will be directed by school staff to pull forward until you reach a table where we will ask for the student’s name and provide you with information, a computer, and a charger. You will exit out of the alley onto College Ave. Kinder 8-9, First grade 9-10, Second grade 10-11, Third grade 12-1, Fourth grade and Open Plan fifth and sixth grade 1-2, fifth and sixth grade 2-3. For more information regarding this device handout, we will have our parent information letter on the district website www.mcs4kids.com If you are unable to come during this time, we will have a make-up day on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Again we miss you guys and have been thinking about you and will provide more information in the coming days.
